We Made Reading Pointers!

I found this great idea on Pinterest that makes reading a little more exciting than just "reading"
You basically take a Popsicle stick, a straw or anything you can find that you can use that will help your child point to the words on the page that makes it little more fun than just their finger!

Ian is loves cars so I looked and looked for some really cool car stickers. I didn't find any but I did come across at our Dollar General store some Robot & Space puffy stickers. They were perfect!

What I used for our pointers were;

- Large Popsicle Sticks (I got at the craft store)
- Hot Glue Gun / Glue
- Puffy Stickers
- A Jar or Can to keep them stashed in!

 So what I did was, had the boys pick out the color they wanted for the stick & then pick out the sticker they wanted.

I used the hot glue gun to keep the sticker attached because I found the sticker wouldn't stay on if I didn't.

Than I just attached the sticker.
