Today was National Puzzle Day!
I did a Google search for a site that tells you all the "crazy fun" holidays & today was National Puzzle Day!
So I pulled out the magnet "Yo Gabba, Gabba" & "Mike The Knight" puzzles I made a little while back. I printed them from the Nick Jr. website.
Then I cut them, laminated them, then added magnets to the back. I picked up some really inexpensive cookie sheets. They are perfect for magnet play and it saves your fridge!
So I numbered each piece 1-9 with a letter
because it seems like they always get mixed up once the boys start
playing with them. I always seem to be the one that sorts them in the
end.
Then I printed off a photo and taped it to
the front of the baggie so there is a reference point when putting the
puzzle together.
There are several puzzles you can print! You could even have the kids color their own pictures or print any photo, cut it & have them put it back together.
Here are the the few we have made.
The Boys had a great time putting these together.
Ian was all about "Mike The Knight"
Leland couldn't get enough of "Yo, Gabba, Gabba!"
Happy Puzzle Day!
