Time?!?
Hmmm, Were has the time gone? Well... if you have kids you know where all your time goes and there never seems to be any left for me these days.
I'm sure there are million and one other things we have done already this summer since school has been out. Now I just have to get back on schedule and get back to my blogging!
Tons have things have been going on around here!
-We took a visit to the fire station
-I had a birthday
- Hubby had a birthday
-We have taken a few trips to the zoo
-We took the boys camping for the first time
-We made some Oven S'Mores
-We took the boys fishing for the first time
-We had a ton of play dates
-I have a few new recipe posts to put up

Graduation
Graduation Day!
I have to admit I thought the whole "Preschool Graduation" thing was so silly but then the more Rob and I thought about it. It's a great way to celebrate the accomplishment Ian has archived.
When Ian was only 18 months old we took him for a consult with a speech pathologist. When he was 23 months old he was diagnosed with Apraxia of Speech. There were a million things going though our heads at the time. We didn't really know what that meant for Ian's future. We did tons of research on what Apraxia was and what we needed to do for Ian to help him overcome all the obsticas he would soon face and build his confidence to know that he can overcome anything that stands in his way.
When we were in Michigan Ian was is a program though the school system where he attended class, very similar to a Kindergarten/Preschool program. He did 2 years in the program and was going to attend a young-5's program in the fall. He would have just turned 5. When we moved to Idaho, they didn't offer a program of this kind. We decided to enroll Ian into the Fall Kindergarten class. It was a real struggle for him and unfortunately we didn't get much support from the schools. We did some more researching of what the other schools had to offer when we finally found Grace Lutheran. It's a private school and they had a Kindergarten Prep! We were thrilled. As soon as Ian was excepted into the program he started right away. He was a bit nervous at first and so were we. It didn't take him long and he had/has ton of friends.
That bring us today! His Preschool Graduation!
The program was so cute!
They started out with a welcome to everyone then the kids came out and took the stage.

First they sang,

Finally, they did a Celebration of Classes.
It was very sweet. Each teacher took the time to write a little something about each child then made a photo video of it. Click the link to see Ian's class with Mr Sherrie. I have to say it did bring a little tear to my eye.

Once the graduation was over we headed to the gym to pick up the packet of projects and work that was done though out the year.
We had a really great day and it was wonderful to see how proud Ian was of himself.
He is "Super" excited for Kindergarten next fall!
