One Great Halloween Get Together

One Great Halloween Party

We started October off with on great Halloween Party with some amazing friends!
I love getting together with my girlfriends and we all have boys! All the same age to top it off. It's just perfect.

So this year we did a Halloween party here at the house. I can't even pick out my favorite part.

We started with a little "blood" punch (ian named it that) and some Fright Bite Nachos. Plus we can't forget the Chocolate eyeballs and the Vampire teeth!

While we waited for the nachos to cook we made some place mats. I found these Bubble Guppies Halloween themed place mats.
Then I used my 3m lamination machine to Laminate them.

Once we were filled with sugar and goodies we went on a
"Spooky Hunt"

FLASHLIGHTS  - READY - SET - GO!

Settle down time (if that is even possible) We played with some play dough I made up ahead of time.

ISU Spooktacular

Our local University put on a wonderful Halloween Spooktacular Family Concert. The had a great time.

The Theme was Peter Wolf, however, the kids were encouraged to dress as Raiders of the Lost Ark & Pirates of the Caribbean.

As you can guess Ian went as Indian Jones & Leland went as a Pirate!

One of the "pre" concert activities was to go around the concert hall trying out all of the instruments that would be played in the orchestra.

While Ian kept playing Leland sat to listen to a story and joined in my playing the "Wind" with the Chimes.

The concert was amazing and we had a wonderful time.

Pumpkin Patch, Carving Pumpkins and Trick-or-Treat

Have to love the Pumpkin Patch!
Finding the perfect Pumpkin is part of the fun!

We came across this cute little family owned pumpkin patch and in my opinion those are the best!
This was their first year open and I can't wait to see what The Golden Pumpkin Patch has next season

Whats a Pumpkin Patch without a Hay & Corn Maze!?

Then the best part is getting your picture
when you look like Frankenstein and a Ghost!

After we got the sillies out we grabbed out wagon and went to look for the great pumpkin!

I think we found the perfect ones!
