Today Rob ran a 5K so we came along to cheer him on! 

GO DAD!!

We waited at the finish line.


We were so excited and proud when Dad came across the finish line we were right there to give him a huge hug!

 

Way to go Dad!!!

 

Count Down to Disney!

We have officially started the Disney Countdown!

For this post I decided I should dedicate a whole page to our trip. So check it out. It will have all the things going on before, during and after the trip! Don't forget all the "prep" work it takes to get this family of 4 and ready for Disney!

Cat In The Hat! 

 

 Today we headed to Seussville & had some fun w/

The Cat In The Hat! 

  He turns 50 today 

you know!

We started out our morning with Green Eggs & Ham - of course!

 The boys were a little "grossed" out by it so we ended up making some scrambled eggs. They kept yelling... "I do not like them" Ha




Then we made some bookmarks that I found at PBS Kids.Com  
( I found all the following activities at PBS Kids.com)

    I think they turned out cute!

Then we cut out some door hangs.

 

We did a few Color By Number 

& 

A few regular color sheets.

 

Finally we finished off our afternoon with a little Cat In The "Hat" Jello desserts !

I think it may have been the best part of the day!

BOOK IT w/ Pizza Hut

 Tonight we went to Pizza Hut so Ian could use his BOOK IT certificates. In the case that you have no idea what the Pizza Hut BOOK IT program is... Well then you may not have grown up in the 80's & 90's! It's this great program designed to get kids excited about reading by rewarding them with a personal pan pizza. Back in the day..HaHaHa They had an awesome button and you got a sticker + a certificate that you would take into Pizza Hut and get your own pizza. Well now you just a certificate but the reward is just the same.

We started off with a drink and some bread sticks. Ian shared his rewards with Leland and gave him on of his certificates to they both enjoyed their own little pizza. Leland was SO excited when his pizza came!

Ian was excited but maybe not that excited. 

We finished the night off with a little Kiwi Loco!

I think we had a few tummy aches by the end of night but it was worth it if you ask the boys!
