No-Bake Energy Bars!

Lets face it with two sick kids at home you are running around like a maniac trying to help them feel better and still get all your day-to-days done. Heck, I can't even get it all done on a regular day let alone with two sick boys. So today I decided that any little energy pick me up would be a good idea.

 These No-Bake Energy Bars by Dr. OZ are super easy, super quick to make and if you are like me you will have everything you need on hand so you can make them anytime you might need a little pick me up.

 Ingredients
1 cup quick-quick oats
1/3 cup dried tart cherries 
1/2 cup all-natural peanut butter
3 tbsp honey
1 tsp vanilla







Start with your 1 cup of Quick Cook Oats












Then add your 1/3 Cup of Dried Tart Cherries
( I didn't have tart cherries on had so I used dried
 Bring Cherries but I'm sure you use any dried fruit you have on hand.












Than add in the 1/2 Cup Peanut Butter.










Add your 3 Tablespoons of Honey

&

The 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla.








Mix everything together


Spread mixture onto a pan


Place in the refrigerated for 2 hours

 
Take them out, cut them up & enjoy!


These are not hard and crunchy and they are not gooey like a granola bar.
They are very soft and very delicious! They are just not the kind of bar you can grab and go on your way out the door. Unless you take it in a little bag.
