toy, game & gadget reviews

I rely on reviews all the time when it comes to toys, games and gadgets for my family but I have a hard time finding a "real" review. I tend to find reviews from people that either expect to much from a product then give it a horrible review when it really is a good all around product or I find the reviews that are paid for reviews so they claim the product is the best thing ever when it's really not worth the money. So this page gives you an honest review of some of the products I have bought used and taken back.

My Review On The
This really is a great toy in my opinion. My boys 3yrs & 5yrs just love it. They are working on hand-eye coordination, cause and effect, creativity and creating balance without even knowing it. It's hours of fun. It does indicate that it is recommended for ages 5+. I feel like this recommendation is because the set does include small marbles that could potentially be a choking hazard if there is no supervision while playing.
cons - A few draw backs that I found with the Marble Run would be that it's a small set. It does come with 68-pc, however, you have to remember when they count the pieces they are counting every single thing in the package. So 68-pc doesn't really seem like a lot once you start building your runs. I did see a few other companies that offered larger sets but the quality of them just didn't seem to compare when I was reading other reviews.
pros- The pros of this Marble Run in my opinion would be that it's endless fun for adults and kids. It's high quality plastic. It does have the option to buy an "add-on" set so you may want to think about that when ordering the main set.. The colors and the added accessories are fun too. There are several spinners, funnels, spiral ramps, and landing in catch-all hoppers and it comes with 12 marbles.
All-in-All  - I think this is a great toy and I would definitely buy it again.

 My Review on
Gumdrop Cover for Kindle Fire

I think these are great cases! I was a bit worried about spending so much because I needed to get 2 of them. I decided to go with a less expensive version and they were horrible. When I finally decided to pay the money for these I was glad I did because they are worth it.  One thing I was worried about was the fact that it doesn't come with a cover. It does however, come with a screen protector and it does the job it needs to do. Cover & protect the screen. Below I have a few photos of how you assemble it. It's really easy.

As you can see it has 3 pieces that come with it. The rubber backing (green) The frame (laying over the green rubber backing) & The screen protector (laying over the Kindle)

First you snap the clear screen protector in the frame

Then snap the frame on the Kindle Fire

Then you pop the green rubber frame over the Kindle Fire
The great thing about this is there are rubber "teeth" that fit into the black frame to keep it together.

On one the top of the green frame there are cut-outs for the speakers

Then the bottom has a flip cover for the on/off button & the space for the charger
This is great to have because it keeps dirt out.

The back has a great design/texture to it.

I can't tell you how many times the boys have dropped these and they are so durable. We have tried a few other Kindle covers and nothing compares to this one. It does come in a few other colors. I have seen it in Black, I have the Blue & Green and I think I came across Pink when I was searching for the different colors.
